I just got a jury duty notice. And yep, 26th and California for me...

I'm a standby juror only, so I won't even know for sure if I need to go until the day before. My scheduled day is the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. Ugh!

Well, we're finally done with the glasses saga. We also do finally have one good thing to say about Visionworks - their "no hassle 100% money back guarantee" actually is hassle free. Walked in, they didn't even ask us why, just started processing the refunds (although to be fair, it was the same guys who joked about putting Jen on the payroll last week... so they knew about our issues). They didn't refund Jen's vision exam, but I honestly didn't expect them to.

One word: awesome!

And OMG at Kisuke's voice actor... Hiroyuki Yoshino was Hibiki in Vandread (the main guy) and everyone's favorite tomato-hating Canadian stunt pilot ghost from Ginban Kaleidoscope. GAH!

So last night after our regular party, a Besieged was just starting - level 8 Mamool Ja. I figured it would be a good time to try to skill up my Elemental Magic skill in preparation for Maat (because it's way behind). I've done I think 1 Besieged before long long ago, and it was definitely a lower level. They just never have them when I'm online. >.>

It went something like this:
Me: Hay thar, mister level 75 big scaly ugly NM!
Me: uses Chainspell.

Came out with about 18 deaths (and managed to have Reraise up for all of them), a good 25 levels of Elemental Magic skill (I'm in the low-170's now, only about 25-ish levels under cap), and a screen cap of one whopping big three-headed dragon.

So, which is worse: the mental image of two of the pro dancers from Dancing with the Stars doing a samba to Haruka Naru Embrasser, or Takada Band in spandex and sequins doing the same?

I'm really not sure...

Oh good god, why does it look like there's going to be a card game included as part of FFXIV in the newest trailer. Please, no, Square Enix. Please. Please?

There are 8 new screen caps in the main gallery, and then I've added some of the very nifty graphical glitches my computer has generated at various times in a new gallery called FFXI Graphical Glitches.
