Well, for a Monday, today went rather smoothly. I just wish it weren't so humid. Actually, I wouldn't mind the humidity so much if not for the fact that I want a 30+ pound hunk of aluminum to sit on my shoulder - I miss my contrabass!

I think that might even be part of why my knee has been acting up lately - it's a whole psychological thing with me reminiscing about my days of drum corps. Usually I get my drum corps withdrawl episode early in the year, about April-ish (when we would have been starting outside practices)... but this year it seems to have held off until now. Maybe I can finally get my ass to a drum corps show this summer for the first time in years.

Actually, I think the Midwestern Championships are in DeKalb this weekend... I wonder if I should try interesting Kyle in driving out to the show on Saturday. He was almost a corps nut. ^_^;;; It'd certainly be cool if I could wrangle that...
