I feel so fucking cut off from the world when I'm at work. I can deal with this no personal email/internet use thing... but I really miss being able to write in my journal on lunch, or looking at friends' journals, and cleaning out my junk mails mid-day from my email accounts. Now that I can't do it, my entire equilibrium is thrown off.
Work is okay, I guess... there's just so much going on at once, it's tough to breathe. I spent almost all day today lining up the categories they they use in Jamaica with the subcategories that we use here in Evanston. The translation is just so screwy - we're a lot more specific in auto, outdoor, hardware, clothing, and other softlines... but they're a lot more specific in terms of grocery items. Reconciling the two of them was sickening - a total of 5 of us spent at least 5 hours each working on it, and we're not 100% done yet.
Blah.
I'm off -
jedijenchan is visiting. :)
