I really should be going to bed now, having just got in from JAPC and gaming hell/fun... but this is too fucking much and I need to post this.
I walk in, and find a message on my answering machine. Time stamp- 4:00 PM today. Turns out to be Todd from work (our Evanston IT guy), telling me that they got the new server installed - and that they want my help trying to test it to make sure it's working. Well, me or Jin - he was trying to get in touch with either of us to help out with some testing.
Even assuming I was home, did he expect me to haul my ass out there on the crappy ass Sunday Metra schedule, just so I could run the same exact programs him or anyone else in our IT department could? I mean, like, WTF? They might not know how to use the program as intensively as other people (like Jin or myself, or anyone in the entry department), but they sure as hell know how to pull up the entry screen and do entry, dammit. Give me a break...
