The weekend was rather action packed... and I'm looking forward more than ever to getting my new computer built. Going to do it from pieces with help from vanslanzerfanel and TigerDirect.com. Right now, looking at a P4 at 2.4GHz, either 512MB or 1GB of RAM, a DVD burner, and a nifty video card (with other appropriate trimmings). Yay! A computer that can keep up with me again, and actually run games released in the last 3 years... maybe I won't avoid it so much once it's all fast and neon-ish and stuff. *grin*

Another highlight of the weekend was the huge sale at Anime Chaos. Damn, do I just love Nick. 50% or more off on his entire stock of cels. I got my order in at about 12:00:18AM the morning the sale started... and wasn't even in the first 30 orders processed. I was so dreading the thought that I wasn't going to get my cels. Then I finally get my order confirmation (time stamped 2:17 AM the day after the sale began) and find out that I did get all of my first choice cels. 5\/\/33t!!1! Two nice cels from the Ah! My Goddess movie (one of Peorth and one of the 3 networking goddesses at Yggdrasil), a hanken/test cel from X (was used for one of the CD booklets, I believe), a cute cel of Sylphiel from Slayers, and a sketch from Escaflowne. Two of those could possibly get me killed. ^_^;;;

Kendrick Calgary is shaping up well - the defender of time from the Great White North is going to be fun to play... I just hope our campaign lasts longer than the three weeks we're all giving it. Some personalities should just not be crossed, and our party has just about all of them, I think.

Oh yeah - new icon to show off with this post, too. Go Shingo! The image was originally a GIF that someone edited so Shingo was throwing fire. "Ore wa baaningu" is the title of Kawamura's song from the Prince of Tennis live action musical... "BURNING SHINGO!"

I need sleep tonight, dammit... must fight the urge to play Fire Emblem. Fight urge... to play... Fire Emblem. Fight urge. To play. Fire Emblem... ah hell, why should I even bother trying. >_<;;;
