Haven't been able to kick this sinus/cold thing I've had since the middle of last week yet, so I stayed home from work today. It was quite relaxing - I rolled around in bed for a bit, read for a bit, and played lots of GBA Fire Emblem. Having beaten it already, I'm playing through on "hard" mode... so far, so good. And not being forced to upgrade Wallace to a General in Lyn's chapters was quite a nice bonus - instead, I was able to promote Kent to a Paladin. I seriously hope that'll carry through into Eliwood's chapters.
And then, for a fully Fire Emblem-ish day, I just watched the anime series with
jedijenchan. Muchos thanks to
timikun for providing that bit of dubbed goodness. I hope ADV puts it out on DVD soon, because it's just fun.
What was bad was that I was naming all of the characters in it after their GBA game couterparts - so the green and red knights became Kent and Sain, the archer became Wil, the white-haired guy was Marcus, and so on. The only characters I didn't do that for were Marth, the princess/pegasus knight, and "Mr. Fashion" the swordmaster - who was known alternately as Mr. Cool and the Lavender Loser.
I am so not looking forward to going back to work tomorrow after all of today's relaxation. There's going to be so much work to catch up on....
