Jen and I just seem to have the best luck with computers. Mine has been fine since we built it in November... and then today, while doing a perfecly normal thing like playing a game on it, it powered down unexpected. And has not powered back on yet - the problem occurred at least an hour ago, so it looks like something is borked.

Le sigh...

On the suggestion of arcthelad00, we're now off to Fry's to see what sort of power supply options they have (Best Buy's selection is atrocious and way expensive... and I like Fry's better than MicroCenter, even though it's a lot further away). I don't think I kept the packaging for my current one, so I'm not likely to be able to exchange/return it... unless I get the exact same power supply at Fry's by some stroke of luck.

Baka freakin' technology.

Edit: Well, fuck. Unless I'm doing something wrong, that didn't fix the problem. This is going to be a wonderful bout of troubleshooting. Fuck me.
